How to Start the Mothman Equinox Event

To kick off the Mothman Equinox, you must head to the roof of the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, located on the western edge of Appalachia.

Here, you will find Interpreter Clarence, who will provide the necessary instructions to start the event.

Mothman Equinox Event Missions

Once the Mothman Equinox begins, you will face a series of timed tasks and challenges, each contributing to the overall success of the event. These tasks range from destroying vines of containment around pyres to collecting Albino Radstag's blood for ritualistic purposes. 

Destroy the Vines of Containment Around Each Pyre

There are three pyres located around Point Pleasant, each surrounded by vines that need to be destroyed before progressing.

Kill Cultist Prophets

After the vines are destroyed, six Cultist Prophets will spawn, and you must kill them.

Destroy Totems of Warding

Ten Totems of Warding are scattered throughout Point Pleasant. You must locate and destroy them all. The best way to do this is to get to the highest rooftop and destroy all the Totems from there.

Collect and Deposit Albino Radstag Blood in Blood Troughs

Albino Radstags will roam the area, you must kill them, collect their blood, and deposit it in the designated Blood Troughs.

Light and Defend the Pyres

Once the previous tasks are completed, you must return to the three pyres and light them.

Now this is the hardest and the most important part. Enemies will attack the lit pyres in three waves, and you must defend them successfully. The more pyres destroyed, the fewer rewards you will get.

Return to the Roof to See the Wise Mothman

After defending the pyres, you then need to return to the roof of the Mothman Museum to witness the appearance of the Wise Mothman and receive your rewards.
