Final Fantasy XIV: Pictomancer Job Abilities (First Look)

The introduction of the Pictomancer job, heralded by Krile in the Dawntrail cinematic teaser, took most FFXIV players by surprise at Japan's Fanfest 2024. Pictomancer was first introduced in Final Fantasy 6 and hasn't been seen much since. So, here's everything we know so far pertaining to the Pictomancer's role and abilities.

FFXIV: Pictomancer's Role

Pictomancer's will be joining the cast of damage-dealing casters alongside the likes of Summoners and Black Mages, using their unique spells to conjure weapons, monsters, and spells to blast their foes in colorful barrages of aether. If that wasn't cool enough, Pictomancer's will also tote some abilities similar to the supporting DPS roles of Bard and Dancer, able to inspire and buff their allies to make the most of burst windows during challenging encounters.
