To find the Junon Protorelic in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you will need to dive into Fort Condor. These side quests are essentially a tower defense game where you have to protect your outposts from attack. It can take some getting used to but at the very least, we get to see Cloud and his gang looking retro as he tracks down the Protorelic.

In this game, you will have to place your units on the battlefield to counter your opponent. Think of it as rock, paper, scissors. Offensive units beat support, support units beat defense, and defensive units beat offense. It is mostly trial and error. The aim is to destroy the enemy leader before the time expires.

You are going to need some strategy for these missions. Make sure you are familiar with the mini-game and it shouldn’t be so difficult.

Head over to the location on the map and find the board game sitting on a table. Play the game and defeat the enemy. Place a couple of trebuchets as soon as possible so that enemies can’t get so close and take the pressure off constantly placing units.

When the enemy stops deploying units, place as many of your own as you can near the opponent's tower. The first Intel mission in Junon is easy. Imagine it as a taste of what is to come because it will get harder.

When you have completed the first Phenomenon Intel mission, the second will appear on your map. Try equipping Cloud and Tifa as your Hero Units to deal with the enemies if they push too much.

This section of the mini-game will be like the last. The only difference is that you may need to place Cloud on the battlefield to reinforce your troops.

Here is where we start to get into a more difficult section in Fort Condor. The enemy will place more support units down so focus on a more offensive strategy. Place trebuchets on either side of the battle to reduce the pressure of attacking troops.

When the countdown hits one minute, place as many units as you can and utilize your hero units. This may take a couple of tries to get right but as long as you learn from each defeat, it shouldn’t take all that long.

It’s now time to obtain the Protorelic and only one more Phenomenon Intel mission stands in your way. This will be the most difficult and there are many ways to beat it but we have some tips for you.

Focus on a more defensive strategy. Place two trebuchets in the lower row straight away to defend against the first set of offensive troops the enemy starts with. Don’t forget to utilize the advanced and hero units to push forward.

Replace the trebuchets quickly if the enemy destroys them. Like the previous mission, it is not the easiest mini-game but with some perseverance, you can complete it without wasting too much time.
