Even if you manage to get the best Fishing Rod that Fisch has to offer, you'll need to get some bait first if you don't want to be stuck for hours catching only shoes and tires. Moreover, the types of fish you get depend a lot on the bait you're using.
By purchasing crates on Moosewood or completing quests given to you by NPCs, you'll be able to obtain bait supplies. In this guide, we'll list all baits in Fisch and how to find them.

Fisch How To Get Bait & Stats Explained
There are two ways to get baits in Fisch: you can either purchase Crates or complete quests. The first strategy will require you to visit Moosewood and find the stacked Crates. When you interact with them, you'll be able to buy one for 120C$. Every Crate contains five pieces of bait, and they have the following stats:
- Lure Speed: Affects the time you need to hook a fish
- Universal Luck: Increased chance of catching all fish
- Preferred Luck: Increased chance of catching certain fish
- Resilience: Affects the speed of fish in the mini-game
It's important to note that some species of fish prefer only bait that has Universal Luck. When this happens, Preferred Luck automatically becomes the same as Universal Luck.
Fisch All Baits & Locations
Keep in mind that there are some types of bait that you can get from Crates and the ocean at the same time. For example, Seaweed can be caught everywhere, but other pieces of bait require you to visit certain locations. Here's what you can catch in the ocean:
- Minnow: Roslit Bay
- Night Shrimp: Vertigo
- Seaweed: Ocean
- Shrimp: Ocean
- Squid: Roslit Bay
Now it's time to take a look at every type of bait available in Fisch and what kind of Crate you'll need to open if you want to get it.
