Fisch offers its players plenty of Fishing Rods, species, and quests to choose from, but perhaps the feature that makes it even more versatile is the opportunity to participate in events for limited-edition items. Apart from the usual types of fish, you'll be able to catch the Megalodon - a giant sea monster.
However, before embarking on a journey to get this monster, it's important to be aware of the best approaches to use so you can achieve your goal faster. In this guide, we'll show you how to catch the Megalodon in Fisch, as well as the most effective Bait and Rods. Let's get started!

Fisch Megalodon Event
The Megalodon Event in Fisch takes place every time there's a switch between day and night in the open ocean behind the Ancient Isle with coordinates (7200, 130, 200). Even though the chances of catching a Megalodon are quite high in these circumstances, keep in mind that getting to the location might be challenging because dynamite, spikes, and whirlpools appear regularly around the Isle. The most reliable way to start the Megalodon Event is to use the Sundial Totem.
Get as many of those items as you can and switch day and night every 20 seconds. This will give you a Megalodon Event once every 10 minutes. In case you don't have enough money to buy so many Totems, you can just jump between different servers and find the items for free. Moreover, you can invite friends and combine your Sundial Totems to catch the Megalodon.
Fisch Megalodon Best Bait & Rods
The Megalodon is currently the biggest fish in the entire game, and it weighs approximately 50,000 kg. However, some Rods can easily deal with the fish, as long as you are also aware of the best Enchants to use with them. Here's a list of all Fishing Rods suitable for catching the Megalodon in Fisch:

Fisch How To Catch The Phantom & Ancient Megalodon
The Megalodon in Fisch comes in more than one variation. Apart from the regular one, there are also the Ancient Megalodon and the Phantom Megalodon. Although they won't bring any additional benefits, getting all types is quite challenging, and it's satisfying to know that you've finished the event completely. However, be aware that you only have a 1/3 chance of catching the Ancient Megalodon and a 1/10 chance of catching the Phantom Megalodon.
Although the probability of obtaining these species isn't that high, if you fish for the Phantom during real-life weekends and use the Eclipse Totem, you'll boost your chances immensely. Once you catch this giant fish, you'll see a cutscene, and you'll be able to brag in front of all your friends. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure!
