2. Other Fixes

Aside from movement enhancements, this update will focus on addressing bugs and glitches. Specific fixes are unknown currently but will likely involve general gameplay and stability improvements.

3. No Major New Content

With Season 1 having just launched, new weapons, map updates, etc. won't be released until 2024 after the holiday break. This patch aims to polish the existing season rather than introduce anything fresh.

Summary

  • Servers go down: 4 AM ET on December 19th
  • Expected return time: 6-8 AM ET
  • Focus on movement improvements and bug fixes
  • No major new content till 2024

The v28.01.01 update brings much-needed tweaks following a bumpy Chapter 5 release. While limited in scope, it should help smooth out issues before Epic's vacation. Expect changes to be relatively subtle rather than game-changing this round.
