Fortnite: All New Weapons and Buffs in Update v.29.10

Fortnite Update 29.10 and it's filled with content, unlike the previous patch, which brought mainly gameplay changes. Fortnite v.29.10 introduces 3 new weapons to the game, including a Korra Mythic. There are also buffs to weapons released in 29.01. Here's everything you need to know about all new weapons in the latest Fortnite update:

All New Cosmetics in Fortnite v.29.10

Waterbending Mythic

Thanks to Korra we're getting a new mythic in Fortnite. Players can now use waterbending techniques to hurl sharp frozen water projectiles at enemies. This weapon will also give you passive healing while you're in the water.

Hand Cannon

The Hand Cannon is a semi-automatic heavy pistol that deals some pretty decent damage with a low rate of fire. It supports weapon mods. It's available in Rare, Epic, and Legendary versions.

Banana of the Gods

This banana is a forbidden treat, fit for Olympians. It restores health over time and it boosts sprint speed and jump height. 

Hotfix Weapon Buffs

Chains of Hades Hotfix Buff

Fortnite Update 29.01 introduced Hades' mythic, part of the current Greek Mythology theme. The Chains of Hades are a very dangerous melee weapon, with a long-ranged hookshot that allows you to "rip" enemies into range. In the current patch, this weapon got a buff:

The Chains of Hades pull in attack damage: 30 ➥ 40

Drum Gun Hotfix Buff

The Drum Gun also got released with Patch 29.01 and is now being buffed:

• Fire Rate increased by 2.5%
• Damage: 21/22/23/23 ➥ 22/23/24/25 (Rare to Mythic) 

We're reminding you that the Drum Gun is available in Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic versions.

The Huntress DMR Hotfix Buff

Damage: 58 / 61 / 64 / 67 / 70 / 75 ➥ 59 / 62 / 65 / 68 / 72 / 77

Guardians of the Galaxy Pickaxes 

The Guardians of the Galaxy bundle introduces 3 new pickaxes, meant for each character:

• Drax's Blades
• Flora Colossus Fist 
• Insectoid Claws

Ascendant Midas Golden Touch Pickaxe

The new Midas skin brings along a pickaxe - The Golden Touch Pickaxe. It represents his hand, threatening to touch the opponent and turn them into gold.
