Fortnite Battle Royale Patch Notes December 16
This new update aims to change how Medallions work, while making a ton of balance adjustments to the different weapons you can find in Battle Royale. Here is the full list of patch notes:
- Flowberries grant more shield.
- Increased damage for the Ranger Pistol, Shield Breaker EMP, and Ballistic Shield pistol.
- Snowball Launcher mag size reduced.
- Thunder Burst SMG mag size increased.
- Reduced the drop rate of the Reaper Sniper Rifle.
- Striker AR deals less damage.
- The circle indicating a Medallion holder is smaller. 🪙 Medallions now have a brief delay before shield regen begins, have slightly reduced regen rates, and no longer refill 100% Shield (unless you have all 5).
- Holding multiple Medallions increases how much shield can be refilled.
Those were all of the new changes to the Battle Royale mode of Fortnite. These adjustments aim to balance the game's premiere mode for Chapter 5 Season 1. Epic Games have also mentioned that more balance changes are coming next week, so keep an eye on our website for more updates!
