After several delays, the Fortnitemares event officially started exactly two weeks ago and will run until November 2nd which will be the start of the next season of Fortnite OG. This spooky event has introduced exciting new changes to every Fortnite mode and added multiple questlines for players to dive into across the different Fortnite game modes.
By completing these quests, you can earn a variety of in-game rewards like emotes, a back bling, a loading screen, a pickaxe, a banner, and the brand-new glider, The Great Scarecrow. How to Complete Every 'Battle Royale: Nitemare Five' Quest in Fortnite
The Nitemare Four questline consists of six challenges just like the previous parts. Most of these quests are pretty straightforward and can be completed in just one game with some exceptions! Each quest rewards you with 20,000 XP, and completing all of them will unlock the ninth and tenth stages of Fortnitemares rewards: Cauldron Chill emote and Night of the Nitemares loading screen. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you finish all the Battle Royale: Nitemare Five challenges.
Carve Pumpkins
In your first quest, you’ll need to carve five groups of pumpkins! Scattered throughout the map, each pumpkin group awaits your Halloween touch. Approach each group and press 'E' (on PC) to transform them into Halloween pumpkins.
Here are the locations to find them:

- Rebel's Roost
- Coastal Columns (Landmark)
- Inside a house east of the Other Windmill

Eliminate Players Before the First Storm Circle Starts Closing
Your next challenge is to eliminate five players right at the beginning of the game—just before the first Storm Circle closes in.
Honk a Vehicle at Night
In this quest, honk a vehicle 15 times during the night! Fortnite’s day-night cycle lasts about 18 minutes, with night falling around 9 minutes and 8 seconds after the game begins. Survive until then, hop in a vehicle, and honk away!
Hit Headshots
For this quest, land 10 headshots on NPCs, Henchmen, or players—no need to eliminate them, just make sure the shots are on target to count.

Visit Different Snowy Named Locations or Landmarks
This challenge is all about exploration. Visit 4 snowy Named Locations or Landmarks, which are all on the east side of the map between Mount Olympus and Castle Doom. Grab a vehicle and drive through these snowy regions to complete the quest!
Travel Distance with the Chainsaw Rush Attack
For the final quest, travel 1000 meters using the Chainsaw rush attack (right-click).
You can find a Chainsaw as a random drop, but for convenience, purchase one from Dark Ruby or Andy Fangerson—locations marked in the image below.
