New Quests and Rewards

Epic Games

Season Zero Tune Up Quests now include seven Ranked Challenges, which will make you show off your skills on the tracks in Rocket Racing. Each Challenge requires completing a specific number of races at a particular rank tier. For example:

  • Complete 10 races at Gold tier or above (Unlocks the Orange Drift Smoke Trail)

Once you complete each Challenge, you'll unlock a fresh Drift Smoke Trail color. This feature was introduced with the last Fortnite Rocket Racing update. We're getting red, gray, orange, purple, and blue smoke colors!

  • All Season Zero Tune Up Quests, including the Ranked Challenges, are available until March 26, 2024, at 12 AM ET.

Improvement and Bug Fixes

  • Fortnite will continue to improve collisions, and it's currently toned down.

  • Driving into a hazard no longer turns off throttle for the duration of the hazard effect. It now applies a higher speed reduction penalty and imposes reduced acceleration so it doesn’t interfere with drifts.

  • Update 28.20 has added a setting for icon-only nameplates.

  • Fortnite fixed an issue where spectators were sometimes removed for being idle as a race was finishing.

  • An issue where going Turbo after speed boosting or drafting would cause not to gain as much speed as intended has been fixed.

  • Image quality has been improved on the post-race screen.

Fortnite is bringing some amazing changes to Rocket Racing. This new update surely looks promising. Enjoy all of these changes!
