Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Battle Royale will undergo server downtime starting December 7th at 3 AM ET to deploy the Fortnite v28.01 update. This will impact all Fortnite game modes, with matchmaking being disabled shortly before the downtime begins. Fortnite Server Downtime will begin at 3 AM ET/midnight PT on the morning of December 7th. There is no exact end time given, but downtimes usually last between 1-3 hours barring any major issues.

Based on past Fortnite server downtime events, servers will likely come back online between 4-6 AM ET / 1-3 AM PT. Of course, this is just an estimate and Epic has cautioned that extended issues could push this later.
