How Big is the v28.10 Downtime?
Epic has scheduled a 3-hour window for the v28.10 downtime, starting at 9 AM UTC and expected to finish around 12 PM UTC. Most major Fortnite updates require 2-4 hours of downtime for deployment and testing.
Once the maintenance finishes and servers are live again, players may need to download an update patch before accessing Fortnite again. Expect to wait in login queues immediately after downtime as millions attempt to play simultaneously. This is the first major update after 45 days of the last big update for Fortnite. Hopefully, it will bring new content, cosmetics, and more not just to Fortnite Battle Royale but also to LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing.
