We're nearing the end of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. As we're preparing for the next season, which will be Greek Mythology-themed, Epic Games has an interesting final event in store for us. Earthquakes are happening around the Fortnite map every hour. The culmination of this event will be a giant titan hand emerging from the ground, holding Pandora's box. Players will have to shoot it down as a community. Here's everything we know so far:

When and Where Will the Titan Hand Emerge in Fortnite?
Fortnite players are speculating that the Titan Hand will pop up on Thursday, February 29th at 11 am ET/4 pm GMT. This is all according to fan calculation and not confirmed by Epic Games.
Currently, the Titan Hand is expected to emerge again in Fortnite on Saturday, March 2nd at either:
- 1pm ET / 6pm GMT
- 2pm ET / 7pm GMT
The Titan Hand is expected to emerge right next to Ruined Reels.

What Will the Fortnite Event Be Like?
Once the players take down the Pandora box, it will open and shoot out a beam of light. This will cause chaos on the Fortnite island, according to the lore of the box, which, once opened, releases all evil onto the world, leaving only hope at the bottom of it. This will cause mini-events such as thunder, tornado, and earthquakes.

The box comes straight from Greek Mythology, and it features artwork with a few gods, which are expected to be bosses in the next season - Ares, Zeus, Hades, and Hades' three-headed dog Cerberus.
What Is the Titan Hand in Fortnite and Who Does it Belong to?
The lava hand appearing from the ground belongs to Atlas, the Titan holding up the Earth. He was enslaved by Zeus after the Titan War, in which the Titans tried to take control over Olympus.
