Genish Impact: Xilonen Weapon Reveal - Peak Patrol Song

Genshin Impact Version 5.1 is just around the corner, with an expected release date of October 9, 2024. The new version will bring a ton of new content in the form of a continuation to the Archon Quest, new events, a brand new 5-star character, and a brand new 5-star weapon. The new 5-star character that will make an appearance in Version 5.1 is Xilonen, the newest addition to the Geo roster. While the weapon that will be added is known as the Peak Patrol Song, and it is Xilonen’s signature 5-star sword. Both Xilonen and her signature weapon will be available starting next week on October 9, 2024, but before that, this article will show you more details regarding the weapon and its effects to help you decide if you want to pull for it or not.

The Peak Patrol Song is a 5-star sword that also functions as Xilonen’s signature weapon. It will become available during the first phase of version 5.1 starting on October 9, 2024. The weapon features a good base ATK with a solid DEF% main stat, making it the best in-slot weapon for Xilonen, who also stacks with defense. Additionally, having its main stat be DEF opens up the doors for this weapon to be used on other characters who also use swords and rely on DEF% as their driver. One of those characters is naturally Albedo.

In addition to its DEF% main stat, the Peak Patrol Song’s effect further increases its wearer’s DEF% and All Elemental DMG Bonus. The increase for DEF% can go up to 16%, while the All Emental DMG Bonus can go up to 20%. And that is not all. Not only does this weapon buff the wearer, but its effect also provides an overall solid buff to the team, up to a 25.6% increase in All Elemental DMG at Refinement Rank 1. This is an overall massive buff for almost any character, and if you’re planning on sinking some pulls for Xilonen, it might also be worth investing in her weapon as well.

How to Get

The Peak Patrol Song can only be obtained through the Weapon Wish Banner. It will become available alongside Version 5.1 on October 9, 2024, and you will be able to pull on it until the end of the phase one banners. Given that the Weapon Banner underwent massive changes in Version 5.0, making it way easier to obtain characters’ signature weapons, right now you only need a total of 160 pulls to guarantee a copy of the Peak Patrol Song, rather than the previously required 240 pulls.

That being said, pulling on the weapon banner is not always the best investment decision you can make, so be sure to think first before deciding to pull the trigger and go for it!
