Genshin Impact 4.4: Official Release Date, Recap, Banners & More

Genshin Impact 4.4 Version Livestream just ended today January 19th and with it revealed a lot of new content coming to Genshin Impact in the newest version.

We’re here to summarize everything that was revealed during the livestream event so get ready and let’s see what new is coming to Genshin Impact in Version 4.4, which is officially confirmed to release on January 31st, 2024.

Genshin Impact Version 4.4 Release Date

Version 4.4 - [Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze] will focus on the Chinese new year and is set to launch on:

January 31st, 2024

The Version will bring with it a ton of new and interesting things all of which you can see down below!

Version 4.4 New Characters

Genshin Impact 4.4 will add 2 new characters to the game. First, we have the 5-star character Xianyun, or as players know her, Cloud Retainer.

Xianyun is an Anemo character wielding a Catalyst that offers support for Anemo characters and boosts Plunge ATK damage, meaning that she will be a great support for one of the most loved characters in Genshin Impact, Xiao!

• Weapon: Catalyst
• Role: Support

Gaming is the newest Pyro 4-star character coming to Genshin Impact. He is a DPS unit focusing on Plunge ATKs and he will pair nicely with Xianyun’s buffs!

Genshin Impact 4.4 Banners

As per usual the new version will feature two Phases each with their special banners.

First Phase

The first Phase of Version 4.4 will feature the [Xianyun] and [Nahida] as Limited Character Event Banners, with Gaming joining them as one of the 4 stars.

Second Phase

The Second Phase of Version 4.4 will feature the re-run of [Xiao] and [Yae Miko].

New Zone - Chenyu Vale

Genshin Impact Version 4.4 will expand on the already existing map of Genshin Impact by adding a new zone that is connected to Liyue.

The new zone’s name is: [Chenyu Vale] and it will feature Chinese-inspired themes with a lot of ascended areas, allowing players to experience the nostalgia (or fear) of ascending Liyue’s mountains once more!

New Enemies

Two new enemies will be joining Genshin Impact in Version 4.4, those two enemies are:

• Normal Enemy - Xuanwen Beast

• Boss Enemy - Solitary Suanni

Version 4.4 New Events

The Chinese New Year is growing close and as such Version 4.4’s main event will feature mostly on that. Below is a full breakdown of the events that will be coming in Genshin Impact Version 4.4!

Event 1 - Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze

This will be the main event of Version 4.4 and will feature three sub-events that players can enjoy. Some of its rewards include:

• Free [Xingqiu] Skin - [Bamboo Rain]

Event 2 - Receiver of Friend From Afar

The first of the sub-events of Version 4.4 some of its rewards include:

Event 3 - Journey Through Hilinigmatic Terrain

This event will give players the ability to go through Hilichurl tribes and discover secrets. Some of the event's rewards include:

Event 4 - Triumphant Frenzy

Players will get the chance to use trial characters to clear stages and fight strong enemies to earn various rewards. Some of the event's rewards include:

• Primogems

• Sanctifying Unction

New Skins

Version 4.4 of Genshin Impact gives the players to obtain 3 new skins for the following characters:

• Ganyu - [Twilight Blossom]

• Shenhe - [Frostflower Dew]

• Xingqiu - [Bamboo Rain]

All in all, Genshin Impact Version 4.4 looks like an interesting addition to the lineup and is sure to have players playing for a long time with its new characters, a new zone, new enemies, and various interesting events.
