Genshin Impact 4.6 Leaks: Possible Release Date, Returning Domain Event & New Character

According to the latest Genshin Impact 4.6 leaks, version 4.6 will see the return of a popular domain event and a possible new playable character. Not only that, leaks also suggested a new region in Fontaine to be released. Here’s a sneak peek into the Genshin Impact 4.6 leaks!

Genshin Impact 4.6 Possible Release Date

If miHoYo maintains its usual version update timeline, fans can expect Genshin Impact 4.6 to arrive in late April 2024. Considering Genshin Impact's update schedule we can speculate that the version will drop on April 24, 2024. This will be over a year after Sumeru's initial launch. Remember that this date is only speculation and is subject to change before the official release.

The developer typically reveals more concrete information closer to the update release date. But for now, returning travelers have an exciting domain challenge and new region exploration to look forward to in version 4.6.

Genshin Impact 4.6 Returning Domain Event

The leak suggests that the challenging Vibro-Crystal Research event, which requires players to clear enemy-filled domains against the clock for prizes, will make its third appearance in the game. It previously took place in March and April of 2022 and 2023.

• In the event, Travelers can select domains of varying difficulties and attempt to defeat all enemies within the time limit.
• The rewards include Mora, Hero's Wit, upgrade materials, and a solid amount of Primogems which can be exchanged for Intertwined Fates.

New Fontaine Region Teased

Version 4.6 is also rumored to introduce Kapim, a new sub-region located in Fontaine. Players can anticipate exploring the hydro nation further through puzzles and treasure hunting here. New elemental enemies may also make an appearance.

Potential New Playable Character

There is speculation that Arlecchino, one of Fatui Harbingers, could become a playable Pyro polearm character in 4.6. She is said to have a unique multi-stage combat system allowing her to drain enemy HP, deal AoE pyro damage, and increase her attack speed.

Additional reruns of existing characters have been hinted at as well. But specific details remain unconfirmed.
