Genshin Impact’s anniversary/5.0 special program took place today, and during it, players received information about a ton of new content that they can expect in the game’s newest update.
But that is not all; we also received news on what rewards we can expect from Genshin Impact’s 4th anniversary, and they are unlike anything we’ve seen in previous anniversary updates.

Free 5-star Standard Character
During the livestream, it was announced that during the 4th anniversary, players will be able to invite a 5-star character of their choice from the game’s Standard Wish [Wanderlust Invocation] for free. The characters included in the Standard Wish are the following:
- Dehya
- Keqing
- Mona
- Qiqi
- Jean
- Tighnari
- Diluc
How to Claim
To claim the free 5-star character, all players have to do is log in to the game starting from August 28, 2024, until October 8, 2024.
If players log in during this time, they will be able to invite any permanent 5-star character for free.
Additionally, from now on, each following anniversary version of Genshin Impact will reward players with one free 5-star character.

Free Anniversary Rewards
Alongside the free 5-star character selector, players will also get the following rewards upon logging into the game starting from September 28, 2024, until the end of Version 5.0.
- Primogems x1600
- Firstborn Firesprite x1 (Commemorative Gadget)
- Kaboom Box x1 (Commemorative Gadget)
- Sanctifying Elixir x1
Log In Event
On top of the previous rewards, starting August 30, 2024, players will be able to participate in a log-in event, which will have them log in to the game for 7 days total to receive Intertwined Fate x10 and other rewards.
