Genshin Impact Version 5.0 is releasing on August 28, 2024, and alongside it, players can finally expect a continuation of the game’s main story quest, otherwise known as the Archon Quest.
Version 5.0 is set to release two acts of the Chapter V Archon Quest and below you can find out what you need to do to unlock them.

How to Unlock New Archon Quest
The Archon Quest Chapter V will become available after the Version 5.0 update on August 28, 2024.
After the update has concluded, players will get the opportunity to venture into the new region of Natlan and begin their journey amidst this bright new land.
Natlan will also be the place where Chapter V of the Archon Quest will unfold, and during 5.0 players can expect the first two acts of this chapter to be released.
The two new acts and the methods to unlock them can be seen in the table below.

Quick Start Function
In addition to the new Archon Quest Chapter, players will also get access to a new [Quick Start] function for Archon Quests that will allow them to start the new Archon Quest Chapter V without needing to complete all of the previous Archon Quests.
If players choose to use this function, their current Archon Quest progress will be paused, and they’ll begin the new story.
NOTE: The [Quick Start] for Archon Quest Chapter V will only be available until the 6.0 version update.
To be eligible to use the quick start for Chapter V players, they must meet the following requirements:
- Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above
- Complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III "A New Star Approaches."
Upon completion, these players will be able to start the Chapter V Archon Quest and experience what Natlan has to offer.
