Genshin Impact 5.0 New Artifact Sets

The Genshin Impact Special Program for version 5.0 took place yesterday and revealed a lot of new information about the upcoming continent of Natlan and what players can expect from it.

Alongside information about Natlan and new characters, the livestream revealed information about two new artifact sets that players can expect in the new update.

Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City

4-Piece	After the equipping character triggers a reaction related to their Elemental Type, all nearby party members gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for reaction-proximate Elemental Types for 15s. If the equipping character is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state when triggering this effect, all nearby party members gain an additional 28% Elemental DMG Bonus for reaction-proximate Elemental Types for 20s. The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field, and the DMG bonus from Artifact Sets with the same name do not stack.

The first we’ll look at is the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact set. This set is a support set that will utilize the Nightsoul Burst and Nightsoul’s Blessing mechanics, which will become available in Version 5.0.

It can both give Energy to the wearer while providing powerful Elemental DMG buffs to the rest of the team.

Obsidian Codex is the second set to be released in version 5.0, and it is a DPS-oriented set that increases the wearer’s DMG based on whether they’re in the Nighsoul’s Blessing state or not.

Additionally, it can also increase the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 40% for 6s, making it a good choice for a lot of Main DPS characters.
