System Optimizations
Below you can see the list of all new system optimizations coming to Genshin Impact Version 5.0 on August 28, 2024.
Capturing Radiance
Capturing Radiance is a mechanic that will increase players’ chances of winning the promotional 5-star character by 5%, making the new rates 55/45 rather than 50/50.
Weapon Banner Changes
After version 5.0, the Weapon Event Wish will have its maximum amount of Fate Points reduced from 2 to 1. This means that to guarantee a promotional weapon, you will now only need to spend at most 160 Intertwined Fates, rather than 240 Intertwined Fates.

Artifact Optimizations
Following version 5.0, players will now be able to salvage unneeded Artifacts into Artifact EXP Materials.
Additionally, Version 5.0 will add a new item to the game called [Sanctifying Elixir], which will allow players to craft an Artifact while choosing its Main Affix and two Minor Affixes.
Archon Quest Changes
Upon completing the Version 5.0 Natlan Archon Quests within a designated duration, players will be able to obtain Primogems x500.
This reward will rerun for some versions, meaning that players will be able to get a ton of free Primogems just for completing Natlan’s Archon Quests during the specific window.
Statues of The Seven and Stamina Changes
Before, players had to max out the Statues of The Seven in Mondstad and Liyue to increase their Stamina to the max. However, after version 5.0, players can make offerings to Statues of The Seven in any region to increase their Stamina cap, not locking them to only Mondstad and Liyue.
Natlan Increased Rewards
Players can expect to see increased rewards when making offerings to the Statues of The Seven and the Tablet of Tona in Natlan. Additionally, players will also find increased rewards when opening Shrines of Depths, with each chest now giving 80 Primogems instead of 40 Primogems.
In total, players can expect the rewards to be increased by over 1600 Primogems.

- Primogems
- Corresponding Character Level-Up Materials
These rewards will be enough to increase a character to Level 60, helping players build new characters faster.
Battle Pass Optimizations
After Version 5.0, players will now be able to customize their Battle Pass by freely selecting 3 out of four types of enhancement resources to see in their rewards. This will help players remove unneeded resources and adjust the Battle Pass to their liking.
Additionally, players who’ve purchased the Gnostic Hymn or Gnostic Chorus will also get to choose which Talent Level-Up Materials they want to obtain.
New World Level
With Version 5.0, players will be able to increase their World Level to 9. This will be available for players whose account level is 58 or higher. By increasing the World Level, players can expect to see more drops from open-world monsters and bosses.

Revamped Stellar Reunion
After Version 5.0, players who haven’t logged in for more than 45 days will be greeted with a new Stellar Reunion, which will award them with up to an additional 10 Intertwined Fates if they manage to complete a series of tasks.
Natlan Archon Quests Quick Start
Version 5.0 will introduce the Natlan Archon Quests and will also allow newer players to use the Quick Start function to begin them without having to clear all of the previous Archon Quests.
To be able to access the quick start function for Natlan’s Archon Quests, players must first reach Adventure Rank 28 and complete the Archon Quest in Liyue. After completing these prerequisites, players will be able to use the quick start function for Natlan’s Archon Quests.
