Following the release of the Genshin Impact Version 5.4 beta, leakers have begun releasing information about what we can expect from this new update. While version 5.4 looks relatively bleak compared to version 5.3, there are still some interesting new additions to the game, such as the 5-star Anemo character Mizuki, a total of two new weapons, with one limited 5-star weapon, and a new event-limited 4-star weapon. Learn more information about these two upcoming weapons below.

Sunny Morning Sleep-In is the newest 5-star Catalyst that will be added in Version 5.4. This is a limited 5-star weapon that also serves as the signature weapon for Mizuki. Sunny Morning Sleep-In is a unique Catalyst that greatly increases the wearer’s Elemental Mastery. It has an Elemental Mastery main stat, and all of its effects also increase Elemental Mastery, making this a perfect Catalyst for characters that benefit from this stat. That being said, not all Catalyst users will be able to use Sunny Morning Sleep-In fully. To make full use of this weapon’s effect, it is advised to use it with an Anemo Catalyst user such as Mizuki, of course, or maybe even Sucrose.

Increase ATK and Movement SPD by 20% and 10% respectively for 10s when using an Elemental Skill. |
The other new weapon that players can get in Version 5.4 is known as Brief Pavilion Chatter. This is an event-limited 4-star Polearm that greatly increases the wearer’s Energy Recharge, ATK, and Movement SPD stats. The weapon itself is nothing special, and it is simply a nice stat stick that greatly increases the wearer’s Energy Recharge and ATK, which can be useful for characters that benefit from those stats, such as Xiangling, for example. While the Brief Pavilion Chatter is a decent weapon, it is hard to see how it will replace other Energy Recharge Polearms such as [The Catch], to name one. Its only redeeming quality is that it will be free, thus everyone playing during Version 5.4 will be able to get it at max refinement, but more testing will be required to deem whether this Polearm will be usable or not.
