Chasca is a 5-star Anemo Bow user who focuses on dealing huge single-target DMG. Similar to other Anemo characters, Chasca benefits from having a team of diverse Elements, and it’s not even a stretch to say that such a team is mandatory to bring out Chasca’s full potential.
Chasca mainly relies on her Elemental Skill to deal damage. Her Elemental Skill puts Chasca into a unique flying state where you can hold down the normal attack button to begin charging bullets, which you can then fire at enemies. Each bullet locks onto one enemy, so although Chasca can be used for AoE purposes, she will mostly excel against single enemies. You can charge up to 6 bullets, and the unique thing about these bullets is that they can change elements depending on what teammates you have in your party. Chasca’s bullets can only transform into Hydro, Pyro, Electro, or Cryo bullets, so you will have to make up a team using these Elements to get the most benefit out of her. Each bullet can also trigger various elemental reactions, so in short, the more diverse party you have, the better.
Lastly, Chasca’s Ultimate is a simple damage-dealing skill that requires 60 Energy to use, making it a good thing to have but definitely not mandatory. In short, Chasca is a character that relies heavily on having teammates with different elements and relies on her Elemental Skill and Charged Attacks to deal damage.

Chasca Best Weapons
Chasca is a character that ascends with Crit Rate%, and given that her best artifact set will also give her a ton of crit rate, we highly recommend that you go for either ATK% or Crit DMG% weapons on her to be able to maximize her damage. It is without question that her best-in-slot weapon is her signature, the Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage; however, there are also other good 5-star alternatives she can use while also having access to a decent craftable 4-star alternative.
Rank | W-Engine | Effect |
1 | Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage |
For 12s after triggering a Swirl reaction, ATK increases by 24%. In addition, when 1/2 or more characters in the party are of a different Elemental Type from the equipping character, the DMG dealt by the equipping character's Charged Attacks is increased by 20%/48% and Elemental Burst DMG dealt is increased by 10%/24%. |
2 | Aqua Simulacra |
HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not. |

Chasca Best Artifacts
When it comes to artifacts, there is only one set that can bring out Chasca’s full potential, and that is the [Obsidian Codex], which was introduced in Version 5.0. The Obsidian Codex is without a doubt the best set when it comes to any Natlan DPS character, and Chasca is no exception. If you’ve been farming for either Mualani or Kinich, you might already have some pieces lying around, but if not, you better get to farming, as there is no other artifact set that comes even close to the Obsidian Codex!
Rank | Artifact | Effect |

2-Piece: While the equipping character is in Nightsoul's Blessing and is on the field, their DMG dealt is increased by 15%. 4-Piece: After the equipping character consumes 1 Nightsoul point while on the field, CRIT Rate increases by 40% for 6s. This effect can trigger once every second. |

Chasca Skill Priority
We’ve talked about how most of Chasca’s damage comes from her skill and Charged Attacks. However, the thing to note here is that the Charged Attacks during Chasca’s skill do not scale based off on her Normal Attack level but rather her Elemental Skill level. This means that when it comes to skill priority for her, you can completely disregard the Normal Attack and solely focus on Chasca’s Elemental SKill and Elemental Burst!
