Emilie is the newest character to be released in Genshin Impact, and she is a 5-star Dendro Polearm character that makes use of the Burning mechanic to deal a lot of damage. She functions as a Sub-DPS unit and can fit into various teams.

Emilie was created with Burning Teams in mind. Her damage can truly shine when she’s used in Burning Teams. She can also be used in some Quicken or Bloom teams, but her damage falls off.

Most of Emilie’s damage comes from her lantern, which, if used correctly, can have a 100% uptime and constantly deal Dendro damage and re-apply the Burning reaction, making Emilie so great in Burning Teams.

She is primarily aimed at single-target fights, and her AOE potential is lacking, to say the least. As of right now, Emilie struggles to find a place in the meta due to the lack of great Burning Teams. Burning is one of the reactions that still does not have dedicated teams for it, and although Emilie is starting to bring more light to it, as of right now she simply lacks the ideal team to pop off.

Although not weak by any means, Emilie may truly show her potential down the line when there is a solid core for a good Burning Team.

Emilie Best Weapons

Emilie’s best-in-slot weapon is her signature weapon, Lumidouce Elegy. This weapon not only gives Emilie a decent chunk of ATK, which she needs to get the most out of her kit, but it also restores her energy and increases her damage after applying Burning or dealing Dendro DMG.

That being said, Emilie also has some good 4-star options that she can use, such as the Missive Windspear and The Catch for the F2P players.

Emilie Best Artifacts

Emilie’s best artifact is the Unfinished Reverie. This artifact set increases the equipping character’s damage by up to 50% when fighting against burning enemies, which is what Emilie is all about. Its two-piece also gives ATK%, which is the stat that Emilie needs the most to deal the most damage. All in all, this set is tailormade for Emilie.

Other good alternatives include the Deepwood Memories if you’re going to use Emilie outside of Burning Teams.

Emilie Best Teams

As we’ve already mentioned, Emilie excels when used with Burning Teams. Although Burning Teams are lacking a bit right now, there are still some decent characters that you can use to make Emilie work.

Additionally, thanks to the Dendro application from her Elemental Skill, Emilie can also fit into some Hyperbloom and Quicken teams. That being said, this will not bring out the most of her potential, but it is still a viable choice if you do not have the characters needed for Burning Teams.
