Iansan is one of the two new characters in Genshin Impact. She is a 4-star Electro Support that gives the whole team a huge ATK% boost and can also heal, albeit slightly. Iansan is an amazing support, and some even refer to her as the second coming of Bennett, and that isn’t that far off, given how ridiculous she becomes with some constellations on her. In this guide, we’ll go over a brief overview of what Iansan does and what’s the best way to build her.

Iansan is a 4-star Electro Support that focuses on boosting your team’s ATK%. Iansan’s buff attaches to your on-field unit and stays with them wherever they go, making it way more freeing than Bennette’s circle. Having said that, Iansan’s buff comes with the drawback of quickly disappearing if you do not move. Iansan’s buff relies on her having enough Nighsoul Point in her stock. The way you can refill her Nightsoul Points is by moving around with your on-field character while you have Iansan’s buff active. This works great for units such as Varesa, who have movement backed into their standard DPS combo, but not so much for other units.
Having said that, if you manage to maintain Iansan’s buff, then it’s a great tool to have at your disposal, given the amount of ATK% it provides. In addition, if you managed to get some of Iansan’s constellations, you will get even more potent ATK% buff and even a DMG buff at C6. All in all, Iansan is an amazing support that you’d love to have on your roster.

Increase ATK by 20% and Movement SPD by 10% for 10s when using an Elemental Skill. |
Iansan’s buffs rely on her personal ATK, so the more attack you have on Iansan, the better. The best polearm you can use to do that is the Calamity Queller. This weapon gives a ton of ATK and pairs perfectly with Iansan’s whole kit. Having said that, the Calamity Queller is a weapon that doesn’t come around too often, but luckily for us, there are some other good alternatives you can use in its place.

Similar to other Natlan support users, the best artifact set for Iansan is the [Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City]. This is the go-to set for any Natlan support, and Iansan is no different.

Lastly, for skill priority, you mainly want to focus on Iansan’s Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill. You can level her basic attacks if you’d like, but you can also choose to ignore them.
