The Lantern Rite event has returned to Genshin Impact for 2024, allowing players to reunite with some fan-favorite characters. After completing the third act of the event quest, several characters will appear. Xiao can be found waiting on a cliff to the left after teleporting to Pervases' Temple. He mentions during the quest he'd meet you there, and interacting with him triggers special voiced dialogues.

Ganyu and Shenhe are near Chef Mao's Wanmin Restaurant, discussing the Cloud Retainer's lantern riddle victory. Across the street, Gaming and Yip Tak share a touching father-son moment.

Other popular characters like Yaoyao, Qiqi, Keqing, and Xianyun can also be found paired up and continuing storylines from the event. And longtime couple Vlad and Nadia make their annual appearance as well.
