Genshin Impact: Navia Best Build Guide, Kit & Teams

Navia is the newest character added to Genshin Impact. She is a 5-star Geo Character that is set to offer a completely new playstyle for the Geo element and will hopefully be able to bring Geo back on the map as a good and solid element to play. Below you will see all you need to know about Navia, as well as ways to build her.

Who is Navia?

Navia is the newest addition to the Genshin Impact Geo roster. She is the leader of Spina di Rosula and one of the main characters appearing in the Fontaine Achon quests. Also known as the Taylor Swift of Genshin Impact, Navia dishes out a lot of damage with her signature Axe: Verdict and is a Geo Character that focuses on Crystalize reactions.

Navia’s Kit and Abilities

As the newest Main DPS and Geo Character, Navia’s abilities certainly reflect that and bring some amazing animations to Genshin Impact, as well as dish out a lot of damage, while also doing it with style. Below you can see the full breakdown of Navia’s skills.

Normal Attack: Blunt Refusal

Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes.
Charged Attack
Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous spinning attacks against all nearby opponents.
At the end of the sequence, performs a more powerful slash.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Ceremonial Crystalshot

When a character in the party obtains an Elemental Shard created from the Crystallize reaction, Navia will gain 1 Crystal Shrapnel stack. Navia can have up to 6 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel at once. Each time Crystal Shrapnel gain is triggered, the duration of the Crystal Shrapnel stacks you already have will be reset.
When she fires, Navia will consume all Crystal Shrapnel stacks and open her elegant yet lethal Gunbrella, firing multiple Rosula Shardshots that can penetrate opponents, dealing Geo DMG to opponents hit.
When 0/1/2/3 or more stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, 5/7/9/11 Rosula Shardshots will be fired respectively. The more Rosula Shardshots that strike a single opponent, the greater the DMG dealt to them. When all 11 Rosula Shardshots strike, 200% of the original amount of DMG is dealt.
In addition, when more than 3 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, every stack consumed beyond those 3 will increase the DMG dealt by this Gunbrella attack by an additional 15%.
Hold
- Enter Aiming Mode, continually collecting nearby Elemental Shards created by Crystallize reactions. When released, fire Rosula Shardshots with the same effect as when the skill is Tapped.
Two initial charges.
Arkhe: Ousia
- Periodically, when Navia fires her Gunbrella, a Surging Blade will be summoned, dealing Ousia-aligned Geo DMG.

As the Sunlit Sky's Singing Salute

On the orders of the President of the Spina di Rosula, call for a magnificent Rosula Dorata Salute. Unleashes a massive cannon bombardment on opponents in front of her, dealing AoE Geo DMG and providing Cannon Fire Support for a duration afterward, periodically dealing Geo DMG to nearby opponents.
When cannon attacks hit opponents, Navia will gain 1 stack of Crystal Shrapnel. This effect can be triggered up to once every 2.4s.

Skill Level Up Priority:

Elemental Skill > Basic Attack > Elemental Burst

Painstaking Transaction

Gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Fontaine Expedition for 20 hours.

Undisclosed Distribution Channels

For 4s after using Ceremonial Crystalshot, the DMG dealt by Navia's Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks will be converted into Geo DMG which cannot be overridden by other Elemental infusions, and the DMG dealt by Navia's Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks will be increased by 40%.

Mutual Assistance Network

For each Pyro/Electro/Cryo/Hydro party member, Navia gains 20% increased ATK. This effect can stack up to 2 times.

Navia’s Best Weapons

Unfortunately, most of Navia’s weapon choices are premium ones, with her signature being her best choice. But that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have a great F2P option as well. That is the newest Fontaine Craftable Claymore. Below you can see a full table of Navia’s best weapons.

Best Weapon:

Verdict

Increases ATK by 20%. When party members obtain Elemental Shards from Crystallize reactions, the equipping character will gain 1 Seal, increasing Elemental Skill DMG by 18%. The Seal lasts for 15s, and the equipper may have up to 2 Seals at once. All of the equipper's Seals will disappear 0.2s after their Elemental Skill deals DMG.

Alternative:

Wolf’s Gravestone

Increases ATK by 20%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase all party members' ATK by 40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.

F2P Option:

Tidal Shadow

After the wielder is healed, ATK will be increased by 24% for 8s. This can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.

Navia’s Best Artifacts

Given that Navia is releasing with a new Artifact set, specially catered to her, there is no doubt that Artifact set is her best choice. But rest easy, there are still other choices you can use on her while farming for the new Artifacts.

Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods

2-Piece: ATK +18%
4-Piece: After using an Elemental Skill, gain a 20% Geo DMG Bonus for 10s. While under a shield granted by the Crystallize reaction, the above effect will be increased by 150%, and this additional increase disappears 1s after that shield is lost.

For Main and Sub Stats you'd want to go for:

Sands: ATK%
Goblet: Geo DMG Bonus%
Circlet: Crit DMG/Crit Rate

For Sub-Stats you should focus on:

CRIT DMG/CRIT Rate > Energy Recharge > ATK%

Navia’s Best Teams

As a Geo character focusing on Crystalize reactions, Navia is great when placed in teams that make of those Crystalize reactions, rather than Mono-Geo teams, which Itto and Noelle prefer. Here you can see some teams that you can use Navia in:

How to get Navia

Players will be able to get Navia on her Limited Character banner in the First Phase of Version 4.3, starting on: December 20, 2023 and ending on January 9, 2024

There are currently no other ways to get Navia apart from pulling on her banner, so if you want her, make sure to save up to Primogems. If you need a push here you can find all of the codes that are currently available for Genshin Impact.

Should you pull for Navia?

Navia is certainly an interesting addition to the Geo roster, and will offer some new and fun gameplay focusing around her Crystalize reactions. Furthermore, her animations are just godly, showing that Genshin Impact is finally willing to experiment with more flashy movesets for characters, this alone might make Navia a must pull for some players.

However, apart from her Crystalize gameplay style and flashy animations, Navia doesn’t offer that much to the game, apart from her ridiculous Skill Damage that is. She is by no means on an Archon’s level when it comes to diversiveness and there are already other fun Geo Characters you can use. Overall, there is nothing making her a must-pull, however, if you like her character design and would like to get Taylor Swift on your team, then Navia is definitely not someone to miss.
