Popular mobile game Goddess of Victory NIKKE has announced details of its forthcoming major update, dubbed the Lion Heart update. The version brings a new SSR-rarity playable character as well as fresh events and modes for players to sink their teeth into. Goddess of Victory NIKKE Update Schedule

The game server will be temporarily offline for maintenance and updates on January 11, 2024. During this period, logging into the game will not be possible.

How to Update:

• Ensure your phone has at least 5 GB of storage space.
• To update the PC client, click LAUNCH on your Launcher.
• Avoid closing the game during the resource download process to prevent update failures.

Maintenance compensation details will be provided soon. The expected maintenance duration is from 11:00:00 to 18:00:00 on January 11, 2024 (UTC +9), but the actual duration may vary. Goddess of Victory NIKKE Lion Heart Update will land on the same date, right after the maintenance is finished.

Goddess of Victory NIKKE Lion Heart Update: New Character

SSR Leona is the eldest member of the Happy Zoo faction focused on ferocious animals. Her Lion's Roar weapon provides ally buffs by increasing their attack range and attack damage.

Leona will be available exclusively through the special recruitment banner from January 11th to January 25th. This banner has a 4% SSR rate specifically for Nikke characters and a 2% rate for Leona. Players can exchange 200 gold mileage tickets acquired from special recruitment rolls for Leona directly.

These are all the five events that will be available in Goddess of Victory NIKKE upcoming update:

New Story Event: Lion Heart

Accompanying Leona's debut is the Lion Heart story event. By completing the narrative stages, players can redeem rewards like recruitment vouchers and enhancement materials from the event shop. A challenging boss stage is also available for endgame players.

• Event duration: Running from January 11th, 2024 to January 25th, 2024.
• Challenge: Challenge the difficult boss stages to obtain various development materials.

7-Day Login Event: White Lion

The Lion Heart update also introduces a login event awarding prizes for 7 days of logins.

• Event duration: Running from January 11th, 2024 to January 25th, 2024.
• Challenge: Log in on any 7 days during the event and get rewards.
• Rewards: Recruit Vouchers and development materials when you log in for 7 days straight.

Cherry Blossom Event

The Previous Story Event called Cherry Blossom is now available in Archives.

• Event duration: Running from January 11th, 2024 after maintenance.
• Challenge: Participate in LION HEART event to get Memory Films, and then unlock the story event in Archives.

Coordinated Operation

Create a team of five Commanders and take on Boss Nihilister H.S.T.A. collectively! Players can team up with friends, Union members, or use automatic matching to join the challenge. 

• Event duration: From January 12th , 2024 at 12 AM to January 14th , 2024 at 11:59 PM (UTC+9)
• How to join: Go to Lobby, choose Event, and then choose Coordinated Operation.
• Rewards: Broken Cores that can be exchanged for Gems and development materials.

Union Raid 

Other events packed into the update include a new Union Raid event unlocked for qualifying Unions.

• Event duration: From January 19th , 2024 at 12 AM to January 25th , 2024 at 5 PM (UTC+9)
• How to join: Union should be Level 3. Please note that any player is unable to remove Union members or leave the Union during Union Raid.
• Rewards: Collect Union Chips to exchange rewards.

Goddess of Victory NIKKE Update: Simulation Room - Overlock Mode (Beta)

An Overclock mode beta test has been added to the Simulation Room, enabling players to test their skills against amped-up challenges for the chance to earn new manual rewards.

• Event duration: From January 16th , 2024 at 5 AM to January 30th , 2024 at 5 PM (UTC+9)
• How to join: Go to Lobby, then choose Ark, and then Simulation Room. Clearing sector C difficulty 5 is the prerequisite for participating. 
• Rewards: Skill Manual and Burst Manual for the first time, based on the highest Core Ratio.
