Granblue Fantasy: Relink Version 1.3 was just released yesterday, May 31, 2024. With the big version update came a ton of changes, but the most notable ones were without a doubt the new quests that players can try and tackle and the new character Sandalphon, which has been a fan favorite ever since the release of the mobile version of Granblue Fantasy.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can get Sandalphon so that you can start playing with him as soon as possible.
How to get Sandalphon
We won’t bore you with unnecessary information and will, in turn, get straight to the point on how you can get Sandalphon.
To get this new character, you will have to gather a new type of consumable item that is known as [Canaan Whiteblooms]. Canaan Whiteblooms can only be obtained from two quests in the game, which are The Final Vision and Zero.
The Final Vision was the new end-game quest that was unlocked with Version 1.1, so those of you who have been playing the game should already have some experience with it. Zero, on the other hand, is a new quest that was added with Version 1.3 and can only be unlocked after you’ve cleared The Final Vision at least once.
Both of these quests will drop the consumable needed to get Sandalphon, so you should get your A game on, as both are quite difficult to clear.
Once you’ve gotten 3 Canaan Whiteblooms, you can head on over to Siero's Knickknack Shack and exchange them for a [Special Crewmate Card], which you will then use to get Sandalphon.

To summarize, here are the steps to getting Sandalphon:
- Farm [The Final Vision] and [Zero] quests to get 3 [Canaan Whiteblooms]
- Exchange 3 [Canaan Whiteblooms] at Siero’s to get a [Special Crewmate Card]
- Exchange [Special Crewmate Card] to get [Sandalphon]
Although it seems simple, you’ll still need to farm two of the most difficult quests in the game to get Sandalphon, so you should polish your Relink skills or get a buddy or two to help you.
Alternatively, if you wish to skip the grind, you can always buy the Special Crewmate Card for $4.99.
Regardless of which option you choose, both will get you Sandalphon, so decide on what is best for you.
