Death Knight

Blood Plagues


Blood-focused Death Knights have been struggling to find a solid deck for the meta, but this is about to change! With Wizbang's Workshop, control Death Knight decks got some very welcome additions: The Headless Horseman and Zilliax Deluxe 3000.

Many cards had their rune requirements changed, which also helps the deck run the Plague package and generate Corpses from Unholy. Although this deck is slow and requires practice, it's a solid way to climb the ranked ladder in Whizbang's Workshop early meta.

Swarm Hunter


Blizzard introduced a very interesting idea for Hunters - swarming the board with beasts for powerful effects! This list is full of new cards that all support this archetype - Hemet, Foam Marksman, Patchwork Pals, Painted Canvasaur.

Those cards are complemented by the token generation of older cards like Awakening Tremors, Sneaky Snakes and Ball of Spiders. This is an easy to pilot aggressive deck which has always been the best deck to use if you want to climb through the chaos of the early meta!

Aggro Token Paladin

Paladin's main strength remains mostly unchanged -  buff your minions and flood the board to overwhelm your opponent. We don't see too many new cards but the addition of Zilliax Deluxe and Leeroy Jenkins, brings this deck a brand new aggressive edge. This  Aggro Token Paladin is amazing for beginners and will surely dominate the early stages of Whisbang's Workshop Meta.

Miracle Draw Rogue


Miracle Rogue is another example of a fan favourite deck making a comeback. With Whizban's Workshop we got introduced to Everything Must Go and Playhouse Giant, both of which require you to draw a lot of cards. Combined with cards like Fal'Dorei Strider, the value of Sonya, Waterdancer and the huge array of draw that Rogue has access to Miracle Rogue is an amazing fit for players that love to show off their skill with quick thinking and huge plays!

The way to play this legendary minion is in a slow control deck with the following goal: control and stall the game until you Excavate Azurite Murloc and triple its Battlecry with Shudderblock for a board full of 9-cost minions! The miniature version of Shudderblock can be used on Zilliax Deluxe 3000 with the Recursive and Twin Module combo for some insane late-game value.

Demon Handlock 


The hand lock archetype got some unexpected love from Blizzard in Whizbang's Workshop. Mountain Giant, Dark Alley Pact and new Table Flip are going to be Handlock's bread and butter. This deck variant by FunkiMonki is also supported by the Demon Synergies. Crane Game and Endgame combined with the returning Doomguard and the new Wretched Queen are going to push this deck into a strong place in the meta.

OTK Warrior


Whizbang's Workshop brings us another interesting way to play Warrior. This is essentially a variant of the popular Cycle Warrior that isn't using Odyn, Prime Designate and armor generating cards. Instead, using Chemical Spill to summon Grommash Hellscream and copying him twice with Battleworn Faceless gives us exactly 30 damage for the one turn kill!
