Helldivers 2: All New Leaked Stratagems

Helldivers 2 continues to release new content that keeps us hooked on our democratic duty of blowing stuff up. We have had a plethora of new equipment to try out and so have the enemy. The latest advances in technology for the Automatons have created the giant Factory Striders that are wreaking havoc around Cyberstan.

The good news is that it seems Super Earth is working on some new stratagems that might help us even the odds in the war for liberty. Due to some leaked footage, we can see what is in store for us in the future. We have no idea when these stratagems will be coming for us all to play around with but we can hope they are coming soon.

Helldivers 2: New Stratagem Incoming – Anti-Tank Mines

We have all been able to try out the Anti-Personnel Mines in Helldivers 2 and while they are pretty good, they don’t deal the damage we need. We need something bigger and better to obliterate our enemies. Due to some leaked information, we will be seeing the introduction of the Anti-Tank Mines soon.

Acting just like Anti-Personnel Mines, the new stratagem will spread a large group of explosives on the ground. They pack a massive punch and can wipe out mobs of lower-level bots with ease, leaving only a few survivors for you to take care of. 

When the Anti-Tank Mines were tested on a Hulk, it did take five explosions to bring it down. This does seem a little disappointing, but if the Hulk is part of a group, the AOE damage could take down multiple opponents at once.

True to their name, the Anti-Tank Mines did destroy an Annihilator Tank in just three direct hits. This could be a game-changer when it comes to dealing with some of the more difficult enemies in Helldivers 2. There have even been reports from leakers that the Anti-Tank Mines can wipe out a Factory Strider in just a few explosions. If that is the case, things are going to get really hard for the Automaton invaders.

When tried against the Terminids, they have similar effects if not better. The Anti-Tank Mines blew swarms of bugs into the air and even killed a Charger with two explosions. As soon as this new stratagem releases, our lives are going to get a little easier in so many ways.

Helldivers 2: New Stratagem Incoming – Airburst Rocket Launcher

The Airburst Rocket Launcher is another leaked stratagem coming to Helldivers 2. This new support weapon could be the anti-air development Super Earth promised some time ago. However, if you think that this weapon is only for enemy airborne targets, you have made a big mistake.

The idea of the Airburst Rocket is that, when fired, it will explode when it senses an enemy in its path. Then like a cluster bomb, it will spread and blow up dealing massive damage over a large area. Reports say that it can wipe out whole flocks of Shriekers with one rocket. The same applies to Dropships and Gunships.

It can also destroy Automaton tanks and enemy structures. So far, whatever we have tried it up against, it has blown away with little difficulty. The only negative is that the Airburst Rocket Launcher will take up the support weapon slot as well as a backpack slot. Despite this, it goes without saying that this new stratagem will affect the meta of Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2: New Stratagem Incoming – EXO-49 Emancipator

If you have heard about the EXO-49 Emancipator, you will be as excited as everyone else. This is a new incoming mech with dual Autocannons. You will have 75 rounds per arm with each mech, so you are going to be causing some serious damage. That’s 150 Autocannon rounds while walking around in what is essentially a tank.

There isn’t much that you won’t be able to deal with when using the Emancipator. We have seen leakers take on Hulks, Chargers, and Automaton Laser turrets with ease. If you need to clear a base, destroy some Fabricators, and deal with powerful enemies, this new stratagem will make it a walk in the park.

We don’t have to worry about whether the Emancipator will be viable in Helldivers 2. We have to worry about it taking too long to get to us. We are going to have to hope that it is sooner rather than later just like the other stratagems mentioned above.

Helldivers 2: New Stratagem Incoming – SEAF Troop Drop

We have heard rumors that at some point in Helldivers 2, we will be able to call in friendly NPCs to help you in the fight for democracy. The SEAF Troop Drop might be something that is coming in the future but from what we have seen, it looks like the stratagem is in no way ready for unveiling.

We don’t know too much but it seems like there will come a time when we can drop 6 friendly units into the battle for some support. The AI of these troops will depict just how powerful this stratagem will be. If they are going to just stand in the open and die then there is no way helldivers will take them seriously. If the units actually help out and deal some damage, there will definitely be a new favorite stratagem in the future.

That’s everything we know so far about the leaked stratagems. They are all going to be major game-changers in Helldivers 2 when they arrive. The only problem is that we have no idea when that will be. With any luck, it will be soon.
