How to Preload Honkai Star Rail 1.6

Gamers can get a head start on the 1.6 update by preloading it now ahead of release. Follow these step-by-step instructions:

On Mobile (iOS and Android)

Open the Honkai Star Rail app on your phone.
Tap on the screen to bring up the login page.
Look in the bottom right corner and tap the "Resource Pre-Download" button.
Tap "Confirm" to begin the 9GB download.
Keep the app open until the download finishes.

On PC:

Launch the Honkai Star Rail client on your computer.
Click the cloud-shaped "Game Pre-Installation" icon to the left of the blue "Start Game" button.
Click the "Get Now" button to confirm and start the 11GB preload.
The downloader will run in the background even if you close the client.

By preloading over Wi-Fi, you can avoid using up mobile data. The files will remain encrypted until December 27th when maintenance completes.
