Honkai Star Rail 2.0: Best Support Tier List

Version 2.0 of Honkai: Star Rail added a new support unit to the game that completely shifted the current meta and switched up the places for the supports in the game.

This article will go over our tier list for Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 and which characters you might want to build and get on your teams.

Tier List Explanation

This tier list will be divided into 5 tiers starting from the lowest C Tier and going up to the highest SS Tier.

The characters in each tier are ranked by their usefulness and support capabilities in various modes of the game. Note that this is simply our suggestion and is open to interpretation.

C Tier

Currently, there is only one support in the C Tier and that is because her usefulness falls slightly below that of other support units in the game. 

She can still be used, however, her utility is tied to really specific team compositions making her slightly worse than any other support.

This C Tier support is:

• Yukong

B Tier

The B Tier supports are generally characters that offer some use to the team and while slightly better than Yukong they too are tied to specific team compositions to be able to draw out the most from their buffs.

The supports in this tier are:

• Asta
• Hanya

A Tier

A Tier supports are generally slightly better than the B Tier characters because they have more utility and can support the team way better with either great buffs or debuffs.

The characters in this tier are:

• Pela
• Tingyun

S Tier

In the S Tier, we have supports that can show their strengths in a ton of teams and help you clear content way easier if you have them. The supports in this tier are:

Bronya

Bronya is the first 5-star Harmony unit that has been in the game ever since its release. She is a great character who not only buffs your teammates but also moves them forward in the action sequence, making her an important support to have on your teams.

Silver Wolf

Silver Wolf is currently the best debuffer in the game and the only character that can add a new elemental weakness to enemies, which is important to have for almost any team. She is a great unit to have and offers a lot of utility to your roster.

SS Tier

The SS Tier supports are game-defining units that not only bring a ton of utility to any team they are on but also make the game way easier for you while also being extremely easy to build.

The characters in this tier are:

Ruan Mei

Ruan Mei is the first 5-star Harmony unit to be introduced after Honkai: Star Rail's release and she is certainly one of the best support units in the game. She is not only able to reduce enemies' resistance but also extend their weakness break which is crucial for end-game content.

Sparkle

Sparkle is the newest 5-star Harmony unit that joined the game in Version 2.0 and quickly rose to the top stop of the support tier lists. She can massively boost any DPS character's Crit DMG while also moving their action forward, and giving a ton of Skill Points to the team. She's quickly become a must-have for any account and is worth pulling for.

Supports are the most important characters in any gacha game and Honkai: Star Rail is no exception. If you build your supports you will be able to clear any content in the game and your DPS units will deal much more damage, so it is worth investing in good support units.
