The Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 livestream took place today and finally revealed the banner schedule for the new version.
Following the pace set by previous versions, the new update will feature two new limited 5-star characters: Firefly and Jade.
One will appear in the first phase of version 2.3, while the other will appear in the second. Today we’ll show you the duration for each phase while also shedding light on the re-run banners that will be present in this version.

Version 2.3 Phase One
The first phase of Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 will begin on June 18 and last for 3 weeks as usual. You can see the full schedule of the banner below:

The limited 5-star characters that will be featured in this version are:
- Firefly (Fire)
- Ruan Mei (Ice)
Alongside them, we will see a rate-up increase for the following 4-star characters:
- Gallagher
- Mika
- Xueyi
Firefly will certainly be a nice addition to the game and is also the first limited 5-star Fire Destruction unit, while also being only the second limited 5-star fire unit. She is without a doubt going to offer some strong numbers, and people looking for a solid 5-star fire DPS might want to look into her.

Version 2.3, Phase Two
The second phase of Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 will begin right after the end of phase one on July 10. This banner will last for three weeks and will continue until the end of version 2.3. You can see the full schedule below.

Phase two is going to have a rate-up for the following 5-star characters:
- Jade (Quantum)
- Argenti (Physical)
And the following 4-star characters:
- Serval
- Natasha
- Asta
Jade is an interesting Quantum character who focuses heavily on follow-up attacks and is speculated to be a great character for Pure Fiction.
However, apart from that, she does not have much use, and Erudition characters as a whole are not that great. As such, if you already have a solid setup for Pure Fiction, you might want to consider pulling for Jade.
