Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 is right around the corner, and with a launch date of December 4th, 2024, we can finally start getting hyped about the new characters that we’ll have the chance to pull for. The new update will give us the opportunity to get two new powerful characters in the face of Sunday and Fugue, which are both highly anticipated units due to their unique kits. We hope you have enough Stellar Jade saved up because this version is certainly going to tempt you to spend some of your savings. With that out of the way, let’s see what the banners in version 2.7 have to offer.

The first phase of Version 2.7 will feature 2 characters and 2 light cone banners for the limited 5-star characters Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary) and Jing Yuan (Erudition: Lightning). Both of these characters will be on their own limited-time banners known as the [Eyes to the Stars] and [Swirl of Heavenly Spear], which will also feature boosted drop rates for the 4-star characters Qingue (Erudition: Quantum), Arlan (Destruction: Lightning), and Tingyun (Harmony: Lightning). It is worth noting that both Sunday and Jing Yuan are classified as limited 5-star characters, so the only way you’ll be able to get them is through their respective banners.

When it comes to the light cone banners, those will be known as the [Brilliant Fixation] and [Bygone Reminiscence]. The light cone banners will share the same duration as the character banners, with the [Brilliant Fixation] giving players the chance to summon for the limited 5-star light cone [A Grounded Ascent (Harmony)], which happens to be Sunday’s Signature Light Cone, and the [Bygone Reminiscence] banner giving you the chance to summon for the other limited 5-star light cone [Before Dawn (Erudition)], which happens to be Jing Yuan’s Signature Light Cone. In addition to these 5-star light cones, players will have a boosted drop rate for acquiring the following 4-star light cones:
- Poised to Bloom (Harmony)
- The Birth of the Self (Erudition)
- Swordplay (The Hunt)

The second phase of version 2.7 will begin on December 25, 2024, and it will once again feature 2 character and 2 light cone banners. The character banners in this phase will be known as [The Long Voyage Home] and [Firefull Flyshine]. [The Long Voyage Home] banner will give players the chance to summon for the new limited 5-star character Fugue (Nihility: Fire), while the [Firefull Flyshine] banner will give you the chance to summon for one of the best 5-star characters in the game, Firefly (Destruction: Fire). In addition to both of these 5-star characters, players will receive increased drop rates for the following 4-star characters:
- Gallagher (Abundance: Fire)
- Yukong (Harmony: Imaginary)
- Misha (Destruction: Ice)

In addition to the character banner, during the second phase of version 2.7, players will also get the chance to summon on the limited light cone banners [Brilliant Fixation] and [Bygone Reminiscence]. The [Brilliant Fixation] banner will give players the ability to summon for the new limited 5-star light cone [Long Road Leads Home (Nihility)], which happens to be Fugue’s signature light cone, and the [Bygone Reminiscence] will give you the chance to summon for Firefly’s Signature Light Cone, the [Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest (Destruction)]. Furthermore, players pulling on these light cone banners will benefit from increased drop rates for the following 4-star Light Cones:
- Indelible Promise (Destruction)
- Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat (Nihility)
- Concert for Two (Preservation)
