"Field of View (FOV) is an often-underestimated yet crucial element in first-person gaming. It's the lens through which you perceive your virtual world, and it can dramatically affect your gaming experience. Bethesda's much-anticipated space RPG, Starfield, has taken the gaming world by storm. However, one noticeable absence has sparked discussions among gamers: the lack of a FOV slider.
How to change your FOV (field of view) in Starfield:
As weird as it sounds Bethesda seems to have forgotten to add the option to change your field of view. There is currently no way to change your FOV from the in-game settings. This might cause some players to feel discomfort or even nausea while playing in the intense combat situations that the game can provide.
There is a workaround however! A user by the name of Hellstorm102 has already uploaded a way to change the field of view in the form of a mod. In true Bethesda fashion, the fans are as working on the game as much as the developers! I'm joking of course, an FOV slider will surely be added to the game as soon as possible, but for the time being here is a link to the mod.
Users have reported that the addition of this mod does not impact whether or not you can receive achievements. At this point we cannot confirm the validity of this claim, so use it at your own risk!
