If you are looking to group up with a couple of friends with the idea of protecting Super Earth from the impending alien invasion, while also doing your best to kill them, this might be the perfect game for you.

As the game features no class system, it might be a little hard for you to distinguish yourself from your friends. Worry not, as the game does have a lot of different armor skins, as well as a pretty basic character customization system. Once you complete the initial tutorial of Helldivers 2, you will be transported to your ship, which will be your main hub for the rest of the game. In order to change the appearance of your character, you will have to go to the Armory, which can be found on the left side of the bridge that leads you to the mission table. Inside the Armory is where you will be making all of the adjustments to your character, not only to your appearance but also to the type of weapons you will be using.

Once you are in the main menu of the Armory, you will be able to find the 'Character' section at the top of the screen. Go to this section, and you will be greeted with all of the different customization options for your character. These are quite basic, with the only default options that are not unlocked through gameplay being your body type and your voice. There are 2 different body types and 4 different voice packs that you can choose from. You will not be able to change the appearance of your face in any way.
