Wuthering Waves is the newest ARPG by Kuro Games that offers a huge open world for players to explore. Although you have various means to go around the world, sometimes it can still appear too big and annoying.

To help with this, the game features what are known as waypoints to help you instantly travel inside and between areas.

How to Unlock Fast Travel

Fast travel in Wuthering Waves helps you get around the open world more easily and thus helps you find chests and get Astrite to pull for your favorite characters.

Luckily, you unlock the fast-traveling mechanic soon after you first start the game, so if you start using it right away, you’ll save a ton of time.

To unlock fast travel, all you have to do is unlock the Resonance Nexus and Resonance Beacons scattered throughout the map. Before you’ve unlocked a Resonance Nexus or Resonance Beacon, they will appear gray on the map, but after unlocking them, they will turn white with blue highlights.

You are introduced to the Resonance Beacons early in the game, with the Resonance Nexuses following suit. To unlock them, all you have to do is go up to a Resonance Beacon or Resonance Nexus and press F on your keyboard to activate them.

After you’ve done this, you will now be able to instantly teleport to any unlocked resonance beacon or nexus.

Using fast travel is really easy; you just have to follow these steps:

  • Unlock [Resonance Beacons] and [Resonance Nexuses]
  • Choose a [Resonance Beacon] or [Resonance Nexus]
  • Click [Fast Travel]

NOTE: You can only Fast Travel to Resonance Beacons and Resonance Nexuses you have already activated.

Fast travel in Wuthering Waves doesn’t cost any resources, so you can freely move around the open world without anything holding you back.

This will help you get to bosses or old destinations more easily, greatly speeding up your exploration progress.

PRO TIP: You can also fast-travel to Forgery Challenge locations, so make sure you activate those as well.

Despite this, there are some locations that you cannot fast-travel to; those include:

  • Tacet Fields
  • Bosses
  • Tactical Holograms

However, although you can’t directly get to them, all of these locations have Resonance Beacons nearby, so you should be able to get there pretty fast if you need to.

All in all, fast travel is an important part of Wuthering Waves, and you should go around the map and activate as many Resonance Beacons and Resonance Nexuses as you can to make your experience more enjoyable.

Additionally, activating a Resonance Beacon gives you 5 Astrite each time you get a new one, which may just help you get that extra pull you need.
