How to Pre-Install Starfield: Get Ready for Launch

Bethesda's Starfield is undoubtedly one of the biggest games of the year, and it's finally arriving on Xbox and PC.

The game's official release date is set for September 6, 2023. Even if you don't have early access right now, you can preload it on your device, so you're all set to embark on your space adventure from the moment it's available.

Pre-Load Date for Starfield:

Preloads for Starfield are currently available for Xbox users (both console and Windows PC) and Steam users. Unfortunately, if you have a physical version of the game, preloading is more challenging. As far as we know, there's no way to digitally verify a physical purchase of Starfield and preload the game. However, the Starfield Premium Upgrade and the Starfield Constellation Editions allow you to play up to 5 days earlier than the official launch, which somewhat addresses this limitation.
