How To Train Your Dragon Official Trailer

The official trailer for the remake of How To Train Your Dragon was released on November 19, 2024, or November 20, 2024, depending on your region. Although it's quite short, the one-minute and fifteen-second video is enough to show our favorite story as a live-action movie for the first time ever. Of course, Toothless is as adorable as ever, and Hiccup is just as brave as he has always been. In the few scenes presented to us, we see the father, Stoick the Vast, telling Hiccup that he was destined to kill dragons.

However, Hiccup couldn't disagree more. Unfortunately, he really wants to prove himself to his father, so he ends up trying to murder one of these creatures. Thankfully, he ends up lowering the axe. In the final seconds of the video, we see Hiccup and Toothless warming up to each other and bonding for the first time. How great is it that we'll get to see this breathtaking interaction in theaters soon?

How To Train Your Dragon Main Cast & Release Date

The new How To Train Your Dragon movie is written and directed by the same person who did the work for all the other films and spinoffs: Dean DeBlois. The animation is co-directed by Chris Sanders and produced by DeBlois himself, as well as Marc Platt and Adam Siegel. So far, the entire franchise has had four Oscar nominations, and it has gathered approximately $1.6 million. Even though the development process was initially supposed to begin in July 2023, it had to be postponed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. However, the movie will arrive in theaters on June 13, 2025, without any obstacles.

As far as the main cast is concerned, we're happy to announce that Mason Thames and Nico Park will take the roles of Hiccup and Astrid, respectively. Moreover, Gerard Butler and Nick Frost will step into the shoes of Stoick the Vast and Gobber the Belch. Have fun and stay tuned; the best is yet to come!
