Infinity Nikki December 18 Update Summary

Infinity Nikki has steadily been growing ever since its release earlier this month. The game has already captured the hearts of millions of players, and with a new update just right around the corner, we can expect to see new outfits, new events, and much more to do. In this piece, we’ll cover everything new you can expect from the new Infinity Nikki update that will be dropping on December 18, 2024.

Update Maintenance

The update is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2024, at 20:00 (UTC-7). Before the update, the game will undergo a one-hour maintenance starting at 19:00 (UTC-7) on December 18, 2024. During the maintenance, players will not be able to access the game. Please make sure you have completed all of your dailies and have wrapped up all you need to do before then, as you may experience losses. It is worth noting that the maintenance may also experience delays and such. Although the initial maintenance time is set for 1 hour, this is subject to change. Be sure to keep an eye out for official announcements on when the game goes live.

Maintenance Compensation

To compensate players for the game downtime, the developers will give out a total of 100 Diamonds and 1 Resonite Crystal. You can claim this compensation by unlocking the mailbox feature and logging in before December 25, 2024, at 08:59 (UTC-7).

New Events

Your Companion’s Day Invitation

The [Your Companion’s Day Invitation] event will become available after the December 18 update. This event will let players participate in activities such as [Accept the Invitation], [Fun Encounters], and [Fix the Flicker]. By participating in these activities, players will earn Diamonds and Titles.

Companion Day Gifts

Alongside the [Your Companion’s Day Invitation] event, players will also get to experience the [Companion’s Day Gifts] event. This is a check-in event that will reward players with a total of 5 Revelation Crystals and Shining Particles for simply logging into the game for a total of 7 days.

Super Escalation

Super Escalation is a double-material-type event. During this event players will receive double materials by using the Altar of Escalation in the Realm of Escalation. The double materials will be limited to 120 Vital Energy daily. Do not forget to spend it each day, as it refreshes!

New Outfits

Two new 4-star outfits will become available with the new update. These outfits are known as:

• Froggy Fashion
• Dreamy Glimmer

Both outfits will be obtainable through a limited-time Resonance event and will have their unique banners. You will be guaranteed to get a piece of the outfits for each 5 pulls you do on their respective banners, so if you want them, make sure to save up!

New Features

Camera Parameters Auto-Save

After the new update, players will be able to instantly restore the camera parameters for Momo’s Camera from their last session.

Zoom In to Activate Camera

This feature will be available by going to Settings > Controls > Camera Control. By turning it on, you will enter the camera menu quickly by using the zoom function.

New Store Outfits

Lastly, the three outfits:

• Timeless Echo
• Unseen Entity
• Woolfruit Siesta

will be available for a limited time in the store for you to purchase!

Optimizations

The new update also brings in a ton of new optimizations to the game. You can find the full list of them below:

• Improved the main interface display when using Controller Mode. After the update, Controller Mode will display the Mira Level and Health on the main screen.
• Adjusted the Skip button on PC and PS controllers. After the update, use the "A/B" buttons on PC and the "O/X" buttons on PS to skip.
• Improved the cutscene-skipping experience when using the Animal Grooming ability.
• Added default camera sensitivity adjustment for PC and PS. After the update, stylists can adjust this setting under [Settings > Controls > Player's View].
• Optimized the cutscene-skipping process on PC for the Animal Grooming and Fishing abilities; after the update, simply press the F key to skip.
• Added the "PV Preview" feature to the Resonance system. Watch the PV to earn Blings as rewards.
• Refined the Ability Outfit descriptions in the Resonance interface, with a new button to preview ability effects.
• Streamlined the Diamond Exchange process in Resonance.
• Improved the animation effects in the "Resonance - Deep Echoes" interface.
• Improved the animation effects when opening features in Pear-Pal.
• Improved the jumping experience in the "Waterway Begins" section of the Well of Fortune.
• Improved reconnection performance in low network conditions.
