Infinity Nikki is one of the hottest games to release recently, and fans of the dress-up genre have already spent countless hours just roaming around and taking a plethora of pictures. Having said that, the release version of the game did feel somewhat underwhelming. There were no major events for players to take part in, and it just felt somewhat bland. However, the developers have just today announced that their Version 1.1 [Shooting Star Season] will be released next Monday, December 30, and we’re here to share with you all the juicy details about the upcoming update!

New Content
Exclusive Quests
Version 1.1 will offer a myriad of new content for players to experience and spend countless hours on. The first piece of new content that players will be able to tackle is the [Star-Kissed Wishes] exclusive series of quests that will familiarize players with the new version.
New Gameplay
Alongside this, players will get to experience a new type of gameplay known as [Let’s Touch Shooting Stars!]. The image for this new gameplay mode shows a domain-like place where one can see two different colored cubes and a background of shooting stars. Truly an amazing place to take some stunning pictures. Unfortunately, there is not much information regarding the nature of this new gameplay mode, but we will keep you updated when more details are released.
World & Random Quests
Following the Version 1.1 update, players can expect to find new world and random quests scattered throughout the world. These quests will offer hours of fun, and you can also expect to get some nice rewards for their completion, such as premium currency and materials to level up your outfits. Those styling challenges won’t clear themselves!
Check-in Event
Alongside the new exclusive quests, gameplay, and other quests, players can also expect to get some nice rewards from the upcoming check-in event [Starwish Gifts]. More information about the duration of this check-in event will be revealed next Monday, so make sure to check back then to learn all about the event and its prizes!

New Story Chapter
The new update will also feature a continuation of the story by adding an interlude chapter titled [Call of Beginnings]. This interlude chapter will unlock a new set of nodes in the Heart of Infinity and will allow you to get sketches for a new mysterious 5-star outfit. So if you haven’t gotten around to completing your Heart of Infinity or are still lacking some Whimstars, you still have some time to farm before the new update!
New Resonance Outfits
Version 1.1 will also feature a new limited-time banner featuring the 5-star Ability outfits [Wings of Wishes] and the 4-star outfits [Starfall Radiance]. These outfits will only be available for a limited time during this resonance banner, so if you want to get them, be sure to start saving up those wishes!
New Free Outfit
This update will also give players the chance to obtain the [Path of Starlight] outfit for free by collecting Starlight Shards from completing various tasks. More details on this will be revealed with the version release on December 30, 2024.
New Store Outfits
The in-game shop will also be receiving an update titled the [Shooting Star Season]. During this time players can use their Stellarite to purchase three new outfits known as the [Star of the Gala], [Snowy Encounter], and [Gleaming Dance]. These outfits will only be available for a limited time, so be sure to save your Stellarite if you wish to purchase them!

Upcoming Content
Lastly, the developers have also given us a sneak peek at some upcoming content for this version, which we can expect some weeks after the version first releases. First we have received information about two 4-star resonance outfits titled [Pink Ribbon Waltz] and [Daughter of the Lake]. There is still no information about how players can go about obtaining these outfits. We speculate that they will be available in a limited-time banner, with a pity of 5, similar to how the current 4-star outfits are set up.
In addition to these two new outfits, players will also get a brand new check-in event title, [Lucky Gifts], which we can expect to reward us with some nice rewards. This covers everything about the upcoming Version 1.1 [Shooting Star Season].
