Let's be honest. We have been waiting for the Valorant Console Beta for a very long time now, and after so many years of teasers and talking, the new release was finally announced at the Summer Games Fest 2024. Although there is no cross-play between platforms, Valorant Console offers the same gameplay experience and updates as the PC version.

Additionally, your inventory will always stay the same, no matter which platform you are using to play Valorant. You will have access to the same skins and cosmetics as usual, and everyone is happy about it! The only problem with Valorant Console that we have encountered so far is that a few maps and modes are missing. Fans are especially concerned about competitive play. With that being said, let's take a look at the release date for ranked mode as announced by Riot Games.

Ranked is scheduled to be released on Valorant Console on June 25, 2024, or June 26, 2024, depending on your region. The mode will be part of the new Patch 9.0, also known as Episode 9 Act 1, and we will get to see whether it feels the same to play it on console.

But there will be more additions to the game other than Competitive. You will also be able to play ranked on Abyss, Ascent, Bind, Haven, and Sunset. The Lotus map will not be included in Valorant Console with Patch 9.0, but it will arrive on July 9. The Icebox map will follow shortly after, on July 23.
