The latest addition to the Tekken series comes with some gorgeous graphical updates and promises to be the sleekest Tekken game ever released. This, however, comes with a cost. Only the most powerful consoles and PC gaming rigs can hope to run Tekken 8 optimally. So, where does that leave older consoles like the Nintendo Switch?
Tekken 8 on Nintendo Switch:
Tekken 8 will release on PC (via Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on January 26.
Sadly, the Nintendo Switch will not support Tekken 8 on launch. Released back in March 2017, the Switch is simply too far behind the power curve of more modern consoles to handle Tekken 8.
There is hope among Nintendo Switch players that Tekken 8 may become available for the Switch at a later date, though this would take a special effort from the Tekken developer team and, as yet, there has been no word on the matter.
