Is Throne and Liberty Down? (Downtime December 11-12)

So, you can't play Throne and Liberty. Relax! The servers of Throne and Liberty are currently down as they will be undergoing scheduled maintenance with the latest update. Having some downtime before we get access to the new content is something completely normal. Fortunately, we know when this downtime in TaL will end! Here's what you need to know.

Throne and Liberty Update (December 11) Downtime

The downtime in Throne and Liberty will begin on Monday, December 11, at 10:30 PM PT (6:30 AM UTC), and is expected to last approximately 9 hours, concluding on December 12, at 7:30 AM PT.

This update brings holiday cheer to Throne and Liberty. We can't wait to check out the Startree Solstice Event which will surely be so much fun. The new Cooking contracts surely sound promising. And don't forget about the Additional Spawns for Bellandir and Tevent!

How to Check Throne and Liberty Server Status

If you're not sure if the Throne and Liberty downtime is still ongoing, here are a few ways to check the current server status:

1. Visit the official Throne and Liberty status page: The game has a special page that can give you the current status of the game. Simply select your region and check out the icon it's displaying.
2. Check out the official Throne and Liberty game status X account: Aside from the web page, NCsoft runs an X account which updates fans of the game about server maintenance, outages, and estimated downtime completion. 
3. Join the Discord: Throne and Liberty has a Discord channel that gives players all sorts of information.
4. Check Throne and Liberty social media accounts: Other players often post updates when they can log back into the game after downtime, indicating that the servers are back up. Keep an eye on Reddit, Discord, X, Instagram, etc.

Once the update maintenance is complete and servers are back online, players can look forward to better gameplay. Just be patient and you'll be back to your Throne and Liberty adventures in no time.

What to Expect After the Update

This Throne and Liberty update will bring lots of new features and improvements:

Startree Solstice Event (Dec 12, 2024 – Jan 9, 2025)

• Snowdrift Island matches, festive villages, and themed cosmetics via Event Pass.
• Additional Arch Boss spawns (6:00 PM and 8:00 PM server time).

Cooking Updates

• Food quality consolidated; recipes now yield meals based on ingredient rarity.
• Adjustments to ingredient drop rates and crafting locations.

Dungeon Matchmaking

• Cooldown penalties for canceling or re-entering incomplete dungeons.
