Finally, the LEC is back and things are heating up this split with some banger best-of-three (Bo3) matches, as well as some notable lineup changes for some of the teams. With MSI 2025 on the horizon, all ten of the teams will be fiercely battling for a spot at the international stage, so the stakes are higher than ever.
With that in mind, we will take a look at the match between KC and FNC during the 2025 LEC Spring Regular Season.

2025 LEC Spring Format
With Fearless Draft still in play, pro players will need to constantly adapt to an ever-shifting meta and draft their way to victory. Thankfully, there will be no best-of-one (Bo1) matches for this split so all of the teams will be able to give it their all.

A very rough game on the side of FNC as KC were seemingly running circles around them. Yike's Naafiri was such a threat on the Rift, and although FNC were able to stabilize the game state, Yike was able to steal the Baron and finish off the wounded FNC members. Shortly after, KC kicked off the series 1-0 in their favor.

A dramatic shift from game 1 as FNC looked a lot better than their match against SK last week. Although KC were able to keep up the pressure and claim some neutral objectives, FNC were always at a significant gold advantage over them. Yike once again was able to steal away the Baron, but it was not enough to stop FNC's advance as they dominated every team fight thereafter, equalizing the series 1-1.

Once again, FNC dominated KC in the early game as Razork's Pantheon was all over the map claiming kills and objectives. A reinvigorated FNC is a sight for sore eyes, and they delivered some great plays, whilst KC seemed unable to keep up the pace. Finally, after taking the Baron, FNC rushed KC's base, winning the series 2-1.
