Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How Long to Beat the Game

The fans of Kingdom Come: Deliverance can celebrate because Warhorse Studios has recently announced that they are bringing out a sequel. We will be continuing Henry’s story but this time things are escalating. We will no longer be dealing with the simple matters of small lords; instead we will handle the problems of kings.

Considering we know so little about KCD 2, we will have to use what information we have to come up with ideas and predictions about what is coming. We have no official release date but Warhorse Studios has promised a 2024 release.

NOTE: This article serves as an educated guess based on information we know so far and is to be taken with a grain of salt. 

How Long to Beat Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If we take the first game as a guide, we should be able to come up with a pretty accurate prediction for the second.

The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance takes around 41 hours to complete the main storyline. If you want to complete everything it has to offer, it will take you about 130 hours. We know that the size of the second game is nearly double the first so this can give us a good idea of what to expect.

Given the runtime of the first game, we can assume that you will need to spend at least 70 hours working through the main story. If you are a completionist, you are going to be playing for a lot longer. We know the map is twice the size as the one in KCD. We also know that most of the story will be in and around Kuttenberg and the city is going to be huge. Even the director of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has admitted it might be too big.

If we consider all that, it's safe to assume that a completionist could take over 200 hours to finish Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Of course, that is only if you want to experience everything the game has to offer. It will depend on how fast you play through all the side quests and content but we are in for a mammoth of an RPG.
