League of Legends players can now rejoice as the much-anticipated quality-of-life feature has made its way into the client. Riot Games has answered the community's request by introducing a convenient mass disenchant option for champion shards, resulting in a wave of excitement among the player base.
Despite its extensive collection of paid skins, League of Legends remains a free-to-play game, allowing players to dive into the action without spending any money. However, starting with a new account means facing some limitations, as many champions are initially locked behind the shop and require blue essence for acquisition.
Thankfully, accumulating blue essence is possible by simply playing the game and leveling up one's account. Each level up rewards players with a champion capsule containing champion shards that can be redeemed for champions. Alternatively, these shards can be disenchanted to yield a fifth of the original champion price, providing one of the primary methods for obtaining blue essence.
Until now, disenchanting champion shards has been a time-consuming process, as players could only disenchant them one by one. Riot has taken steps to streamline this process, introducing a game-changing quality of life improvement.
League of Legends YouTuber Vandiril showcased this new multi-disenchant feature in a recent video. Soon, players will have the ability to mass disenchant all of their accumulated shards. Currently being tested on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), this feature eliminates the need for players to painstakingly disenchant each individual shard.
Instead, with the mass disenchant button, players can select multiple shards they wish to dismantle, creating a list that will be disenchanted in one go upon confirmation.
This eagerly awaited feature is expected to go live with Patch 13.16, slated for release on August 16, 2023. Undoubtedly, this addition will be warmly welcomed by players, particularly those who invest significant time grinding on the rift.
