LEC 2024 Summer Playoffs Results: FNC vs SK & G2 vs KC

The LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs are in full motion as we will be watching 8 teams compete to win the Summer Title as well as see which roster will be representing the region in the 2024 World Championship. With so much on the line, we can expect bangers and the very best the pro players can offer. 

Having that in mind, we will go over the first two matches of the Playoffs between FNC, GX, G2, and KC. Given how all of the teams seemed pretty strong during this split, the competition will be fierce as G2 might finally have a worthy opponent in the face of SK, BDS, and FNC. 

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs Matches

This year's Playoffs will once again have best-of-three (Bo3) matches with two separate brackets as all of the teams will get at least 2 opportunities to prove themselves before being eliminated from the tournament. 

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs FNC vs GX Match

The third match of Playoffs was between the titans of the region FNC and the GX underdogs. Although FNC looked phenomenal during the Regular Season, G2 was able to end their win streak as GX's mid lane is slowly becoming one of the most interesting players in the region.

Although GX was able to put up a very tough fight, ultimately FNC was able to stabilize and secure their dominance in the series with a very convincing third game, ultimately winning the match 2-1. 

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs G2 vs KC Match

The fourth match of Playoffs was between the reigning champions G2 versus the new kids on the block KC whose very weak Winter, Spring, and Summer Regular Season performances were met with harsh criticism, but ultimately the team was able to secure their spot in Playoffs.

G2 was once again able to show why they are crowned the best of the best in this clean 2-0 series. Despite some early game hiccups, the region's favorites were able to display great macro and objective control as well as great team fighting, but KC is not to be underestimated as it seems the org is just picking up steam. 

And that covers all of the matches from the second day of Playoffs as the LEC 2024 Summer Split is heating up towards a very fun and exciting tournament.
