LEC 2024 Summer Playoffs Results: SK vs TH & BDS vs MDK

The LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs are in full motion as we will be watching 8 teams compete to win the Summer Title as well as see which roster will be representing the region in the 2024 World Championship. With so much on the line, we can expect bangers and the very best the pro players can offer. 

Having that in mind, we will go over the first two matches of the Playoffs between SK, TH, BDS, and MDK. Given how all of the teams seemed pretty strong during this split, the competition will be fierce as G2 might finally have a worthy opponent in the face of SK, BDS, and FNC. 

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs Matches

This year's Playoffs will once again have best-of-three (Bo3) matches with two separate brackets as all of the teams will get at least 2 opportunities to prove themselves before being eliminated from the tournament. 

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs SK vs TH Match

The first match of Playoffs was between the new fan favorites SK vs the formidable roster of TH. Although SK looked phenomenal during the Regular Season, TH still posed a serious threat to the other LEC teams.

SK was able to close out the series in a very convincing 2-0 fashion, and although TH had a lot of opportunities to cement their lead, SK was able to sweep in and win deciding team fights.

LEC 2024 Summer Split Playoffs BDS vs MDK Match

The second match of Playoffs was between the lovable BDS versus MDK whose very weak Spring and Summer Regular Season performances were a shocking surprise to fans and analysts following their Winter split results.

Following a very close series, BDS was able to close out the match in a very shaky 2-1 fashion as MDK put up quite the fight as the third game lasted a whopping 42 minutes, however, BDS remained resolute.
