LEGO Fortnite Update v30.40 Leaks: Fast Travel, New Styles & More

The Fortnite schedule suggests August 6th will mark the release of update v.30.40. This means LEGO Fortnite changes will drop tomorrow as well, bringing with it an array of exciting new features, styles, and gameplay mechanics. In this article, you can read more about the leaked upcoming features.

New LEGO Styles in v30.40

According to leaks, LEGO Fortnite with these new character styles:

• Abyss
• Antheia
• The Cube Queen
• Ember
• Indiana Jones

Fast Travelling in v30.40

A major highlight of the 30.40 update will supposedly be the introduction of fast traveling in the LEGO game mode.

• Bus Stations: Already set up in your world. Players can build more bus stations by destroying the existing ones and gathering Rift Shards.
• Battle Bus: Use the Bus Stations to travel quickly to your chosen destinations, such as favorite mining spots or villages.

New Vehicle Builds in v30.40

Two new vehicle builds are being added in LEGO Fortnite update v.30.40. Along with the fast traveling, they will make navigating the world way easier.

• Kart Racer
• Offroad Flyer

New Toys in v30.40

LEGO Fortnite players will also be getting a selection of interactive toys:

• Pressure Plate: A button that activates channels when pressed and needs to stay down to work.
• Trigger Plate: Similar to the Pressure Plate, but it doesn’t need to stay down to keep channels activated.
• Activated Balloon Small: Inflate this small balloon using channel control.
• Activated Balloon Large: A larger version of the Activated Balloon Small, offering the same functionality but on a bigger scale.

New In-Game LEGO Set Bundle & Kits

The Pirate Lifestyle Bundle will offer lots of cool pirate-themed features. It will supposedly be available in the Fortnite Shop on August 6 for 1,000 V-Bucks. The bundle includes:

• Captain's Battlement: A LEGO Kit with the Captain's Battlement Build and Planky Favorites Decor Bundle (800 V-Bucks individually).
• Captain’s Cabin: A Decor Bundle with 8 items for indoor decoration (300 V-Bucks individually).
• Seaport Style: A Decor Bundle with 8 items for outdoor decoration (200 V-Bucks individually).

Other New Additions and Changes

• Inventory: Increased from 24 to 32 slots.
• Codex: Get detailed information on your discoveries, hints on undiscovered items, and track crafting recipes.
• Map: Enhanced zoom out, pan the entire world, and new ping ability.
• UI Improvements: Filter items by building or set a theme and name your own villages.
• Settings can now be changed without creating a new world, except for mode (Cozy, Survival, Sandbox, Expert) and Player Elimination.
• Turning off Enemies or Friendly Creatures will not remove existing ones until you defeat them or leave the area.
• Locked settings in Expert mode remain unchanged.
